Overland Plating is a family-owned and operated business that offers polishing, plating, and refinishing on most items made of metal including firearms, knife and sword parts, jewelry, watches, and automotive and motorcycle parts.

We offer the following finishes:

• Regular nickel
• Electroless nickel
• 24k gold
• Copy chrome (a chrome-looking nickel/cobalt alloy)
• black chrome
• electroless cobalt
• copper electroplate

We are one of the few companies offering the variety and the ability to do everything in-house and do not out-source. We offer personalized service with the highest quality, the best price in a timely manner. We do every gun by hand, one at a time.

With the large amount of custom AK builds being done by Overland Industries, we are now offering selector markings, notches milled in the correct location and most factory markings. If the markings you requre are not in the stock they can be special ordered. Prices for selector markings start at $40. If done at the same time of AK build, there is a discount.

In addition to AK markings, we also do caliber and serial number engraving on barrels for SBR regulations and barrel and patent marks and restoration on Colt revolvers.
